For generations, the Prinoth family has been known for its passion and entrepreneurial spirit. But it was the perseverance of the new generation, with Johannes at the helm, that allowed the hut to evolve and continually improve. Our goal is to create a unique setting with familial warmth that perfectly reflects the spirit of this place we call home.
For us, beauty lies in all the tiny details that brighten every inch of our home; in the awe that fills the eyes of people seeing Mt Sassolungo/Langkofel and the other surrounding mountains for the first or hundredth time; in the smiles and warmth of the people who choose to stay at our hut every year.
Our family has always loved the mountains and every facet of the lifestyle that this land lets us live. And we’ve been passionate about animals for as long as we can remember. That’s partly why we decided to create our organic yak and Highland cattle farm around our hut, in the heart of the Dolomites.
